Integrative Synthetic & Systems Biology for a Resilient Future
ABOUT
In response to scientific challenges, there is a clear need to strengthen international collaboration, particularly in the fields of synthetic and systems biology. The international symposium INTEGRATIVE SYNTHETIC & SYSTEMS BIOLOGY FOR A RESILIENT FUTURE is organized as part of the events celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Institute for Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio), a joint center of the University of Valencia and CSIC. This milestone coincides with I2SysBio’s ambition to consolidate itself as an international reference in Systems and Synthetic Biology.
The symposium aims to provide a forum for scientific exchange between leading international researchers and members of I2SysBio, with special emphasis on fostering meaningful and long-lasting research collaborations. Rather than addressing broad global issues in isolation, the meeting will focus on integrative approaches that connect multiple levels of biological organization, from molecular components to cellular networks and ecological systems. Through presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities, participants will explore shared research interests, complementary methodologies, and pathways for joint initiatives. The ultimate goal is to cultivate collaborative relationships that advance scientific knowledge while strengthening I2SysBio’s role as a hub for integrative systems and synthetic biology.
